The evo only had dual, but similar thing.

To be fair, single exhaust systems (if designed well) flow better than multiple exhaust typically. Not to mention that the STI and this Honda are still a 2 to 4 system with a cross pipe, so its just dual exhaust in reality.

Aren’t they just single exhaust because of the Turbo?

The 2 sides of the header collect at the turbo, yes. So 2 (header) to 1 (downpipe) to 2 (mufflers) to 4 (tips). On the STI anyway.

You do not understand how hard it is to find a reasonably priced exhaust for a sti that isn’t a fart can. I only managed to find one with a 3 1/2” tip after looking for a while. The tip makes sense as its a 3” exhaust, but still, I’d be happier with a 3” tip.

nah, nothing worse than excessive tailpipes. 1 turbo? 1 pipe. N/A? general rule of thumb, # of banks=number of tailpipes. the S2000 exhaust annoys me.

So would you get genuinely irritated if i fabbed up a dual outlet setup for my 900 SPG?

I tend to gravitate toward dual sets because things have to be even.

probably. I enjoy asymmetrical cars.

Was definitely rocking 4 tips for a while.. but at least I had 6 cylinders. Now its single black dual tip.

How come we don’t see black exhausts much? I think they look killer.

Are there even aftermarket performance exhausts where the tip is the same size as the tubing?

I remember reading that they were at an angle because they are large and would not fit if installed longitudinally.

That makes sense I guess. Or just use a smaller exhaust.
